What it is to be Glad, it is to be happy.


Feeling glad and feeling happy goes pretty much hand in hand.

If you don’t have a magic wand to miraculously feel happy all the time, the good news is we can just work from the other side – practice cultivating gratitude!  Complete these sentences in your head or use them as the initial framework of a gratitude journal:

If you complete the following sentences in your head, you’ll be off to a good start:

Right now, I’m feeling …………

I’m really glad I can …………

I feel blessed to have …………, ………… and ………….

I am thankful to have the freedom to  …………, and the power to ………… 

I feel loved by  …………

And ………… 

How fortunate!

Right now, right here, with my body in this condition, this shape, this precise state, and my life at this unique moment in time, I feel grateful for  …………

You could use that as a template for a morning or evening journal, or for another big daily boost, build a habit of answering some of these energizingly positive questions here!
