The ’20-40-60 Rule’ can, with a fair pinch of salt, help dissolve worries, reduce stress, build self-responsibility and help motivate you to take control of your life…it goes like this:
At 20, we are constantly worrying about what other people think of us.
At 40, we wake up and say “I’m not going to give a damn what other people think of me any more”,
Then at 60, we realize that no one was really thinking about us all along!
So there’s no point worrying about how we’re perceived – “what other people think of you is none of your business” – and more importantly no-one’s going to spoon feed you the answers to what to do or tell you how to live!
This doesn’t mean no-one love’s one-another! And there’s many exceptions to the rule too, but most people are so busy with their own lives it really is down to you to accept self-responsibility and go for it.
(And good luck from me!)
Why not pass on this little Hi to someone that might also like to start their day on a Hi note!
