Making happiness a habit – UNFINISHED (LINK TO HABIT ARTICLE)

Habituating positive changes is the most effective way to take our current life satisfaction to an even higher level than before.  By making these positive changes into subconscious habits, we are most likely to maintain the practice and continue to enjoy the rewards over far longer periods of life.

The first step is to write down your daily routine and identify the things you do every day. These can each be “Reminders” to practice the new habit. Unfortunately trying to remember how to be happy just doesn’t work, we need processes to remind us to habituate the positive changes.  

Then, to reinforce the new habit, reward yourself each time the new happiness encouraging routine has been followed.
