“Positive Re-Framing” can be super effective in shifting our subconscious negativity/positivity bias.
Instead of responding to a request with a negative bias, such as “No, not until after lunch”, re-frame your response positively into “Yes, we can do that straight after lunch”.
Children respond significantly better to positive frames responses.
