Gratitude is the source of all happiness. Here’s a few really great ways to keep your mind in control of your thoughts to maximise our capacity for gratitude.
These methods are based on treating the mind like a muscle and constantly training it:
Practice and develop mindfulness,
Consciously focus on the good,
Read across wide genres,
Consistently try to be nice to people,
Do good deeds without wish for reciprocation,
Expand your network outside your usual circles.
There’s a hugely diverse world out there and by training the mind to understand and appreciate the good bits, we learn to see more, appreciate more, and can choose to be grateful of more.
