Great News! We can calibrate our “amazement” range!
What does that mean then?
As children we are amazed by grandparents that can make coins appear from behind our ears, extend their thumbs and grab our noses right off our faces.
Later in life it takes fire, art, beauty in nature to keep us amazed, and so the expectations rise.
But we can re-calibrate this scale – we can reign in our requirements for amazement by intentionally reducing our expectation.
Practice finding pleasure in the little things… snapping chalk, writing on banana skins, sunlight, stretching….
Imagine what you will feel when you see those big things again!
Please pass on this little Hi to anyone that may also like to start their day on a Hi note!
