Happy Idea 148

They say no good deed goes unnoticed, which may be down to our inherent reward system governed by our moral compass.

Making the effort to volunteer some time to a worthy cause will almost always make you feel good.

Giving away something precious as an act of charity, be it physical, monetary or time, may trigger a feeling of contribution, sometimes contentment, other times joy, or good heartedness.

These rewards have a significant positive impact in our happiness, which is why good deeds for others is a necessary component of the “Love Others” building block in our structure of happiness, the “Happiness Building“.

If you feel you benefit from the happiness rewards from loving others more, check out some random acts of kindness here for inspiration!

Help make the world a happier place by passing on this little Hi to someone that might also like to start their day on a Hi note!
