Get Dirty With The Mycobacterium Vaccae

There is a magical bacterium that thrives in soil, called Mycobacterium Vaccae, which has been found to trigger the release of serotonin, which in turn elevates mood and decreases anxiety.

This little beauty has even been found to improve cognitive function as well as the many other amazing benefits of increased happiness, and is showing strong potential to treat cancers and other diseases such as Crohn’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis!

We can benefit from its uplifting effects by getting soil on the skin such as through gardening, playing outside or walking barefoot, and even to some extent through inhaling fresh air when close to freshly turned soil!

So why not get out there and get dirty with the world!
