Celebrating the hundreds

Wow what a week!

We’ve just launched the first book from A Good Way To Think, and so many of you have already got a copy on the way to you!  The book – 100 Steps Happier – is a great way to learn a bit more about how the happiness training exercises we use help clients increase their creativity and productivity, reach new levels of physical fitness, boost their immune systems and build happier more resilient relationships.

This wouldn’t be a proper Happy Idea without sharing some happiness too, so in 2005, researchers from the universities of California, Missouri and Illinois published a meta-analysis* of 225 academic studies concluding that “happiness is associated with and precedes numerous successful outcomes, as well as behaviors paralleling success.” Happier employees were on average 31% more productive, recorded 37% higher sales, and were three times more creative!” These profound results are partnered with reduced stress, which improves our problem solving abilities allows for better rational decision making resulting in more efficient management decisions, and higher chances of promotion.
